AQUA contributes to protecting water resources thoroughly by returning water used into the ecosystem, using water responsibly and improving clean water distribution for the community.
We are committed to protect water resources for environmental and business sustainability with the community and stakeholders. We maintain the quantity and quality of water in the watershed (DAS) by initiating hydrogeological research, conservation programs, and the establishment of water user forums to ensure the involvement of all stakeholders in managing the watershed (DAS).
Through efficient use of water and water quality protection from chemical contamination, AQUA seeks to support environmentally friendly agricultural practices.
AQUA ensures that the use of water for production can be carried out as economically as possible by recycling production residual water for domestic purposes that there is no water wasted in the production process, as well as ensuring efficient utilization of water for the production process.
We have ensured that every drop of water that becomes production waste is safe for the environment through the use of Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plants (IPAL) that are in accordance with the standardization of the Environment Agency (BLH) in every operational area of AQUA.
AQUA took the initiative to develop programs to improve access for clean water, sanitation and environmental sanitation for the communities around the plant and the operational area of AQUA in Indonesia which still lack access for clean water. Not only that, we also collaborate with local and international non-government organizations (NGOs) to increase the reach and program sustainability guarantee also to introduce innovative business models to support the initiative.
